Looking to train with a CPDT-KA certified trainer?
Above all my training seeks to improve coexistence between dogs and their owners. In my training, I strive to use the least amount of force possible. I believe in the relationship between human and dog, and strive to help nurture it into one of understanding and best practices.
"While changing the world in a big way is not always possible, I can make big changes in small worlds by helping improve the relationships people have with their dogs."
The spark for training ignited in 2014, when Kirstin brought a 6 week old mix breed into her home. "Valhalla" soon proved to be a handful, tearing the house apart and leaving nothing in her wake. She never would have guessed that that hyper, hard to work with mutt would start her on her path in dog training.
2016 marked the start of Kirstin's professional career in dog training with her joining the program of a local box store. Since then, she has worked boarding/daycare facilities, made connections within the dog training world, attended seminars and has taken courses to continue her education. She continues to strive to learn as much as she can, to help other dog owners that were in her shoes.
